This assessment examines Raddle.me, an anarchist discussion platform, and the person who founded and administers it, known by the handle ziq. It sets the platform’s documented design, governance and conduct beside historical and contemporary cases of four kinds of operation:

  • platforms run or entered by intelligence or law-enforcement agencies;
  • informants and undercover officers inside political movements;
  • ideological or factional manipulation of online communities;
  • commercial and research collection of activist content.

The purpose is to establish which features Raddle shares with each kind and what those overlaps imply for users, for the movement network around the platform, and for anyone assessing the platform’s risk.

The information cut-off is 21 October 2026.
